About

My earliest memories are steeped in textiles. My stepfather worked in the industry, and from the age of three our home was filled with timeworn Italian suitcases overflowing with fabric swatches, prints and colour - ignited an obsession that has shaped my life ever since.

After graduating from the London College of Fashion, I spent more than two decades as a textile developer. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with some of London's most respected designers and exceptional Italian mills, many of which house century-old print archives. Their craftsmanship, heritage and artistry continue to inspire me daily.

Attique is proudly produced in North London. The area is home to an extraordinary community of makers whose skills have been honed over generations and across cultures. Working closely with these makers is one of the most rewarding parts of building Attique.

I believe in a more considered approach to dressing—investing in fewer, better pieces that endure beyond seasons and occasions. Garments designed to be worn often, cherished for years and passed on with purpose.

Every Attique piece is thoughtfully crafted by hand and finished with meticulous attention to detail, including elegant French seams that honour the beauty of the garment both inside and out.

With love,

Sophie
