My Stepdad had always worked in textiles, and from the age of 3 our house was filled with beautiful old Italian suitcases, bursting with fabric samples - this sparked my life-long journey and passion with prints and colour. I graduated from London College of Fashion, where I studied Fashion Business, and went onto work as a textile developer for over 20 years. I have been fortunate to have partnered with some of the most iconic catwalk designers in London, and the most incredible textile mills in Italy and their 100-year-old vintage print archives. This has fed my passion daily, garnering a full-on obsession for prints and textiles.
All of Attique's production is made locally in North London, as there is a rich tapestry of amazing and highly skilled people from all around the world here. I feel privileged to get to know them, and have their knowledge constantly to hand, especially as I learn and grow my business.
I strongly believe we need to buy less and buy better - it's one of the simplest ways to be more sustainable, and to be able to wear these pieces across occasions makes them even more planet friendly.
All pieces are respectfully handmade, with beautiful luxe French seams.
